Had a lovely 2 night stay, slept well and there was absolutely no noise through the night. Left a personal item behind and got a call within 5 minutes of leaving that I had left it behind. Very good service!
There's a large free carpark with lots of space. Plenty of food options available around within walking distance. Check in was quick and efficient, you can choose your room in advance so you get the one you want. The rooms are clean, well maintained and have a nice feeling about them. The hotel is set back from the road so noise is kept to a minimum. The windows actually open which is nice compared with Premier inn.
Travelodge Shrewsbury Battlefield is a great. Near a pub, burger king, and coffee shop. Ideal.
As always, great value and attentive staff. Basic but functional, but thats all you need for a one night stop over. Premier Inn take note - Travelodge are "soft closing" fans. Toilet seats that is. Gets your sorted.....

Stayed here for a few weeks, rooms were a nice size and clean, staff were absolutely amazing during the whole stay, accommodating and lovely, hotel manager is a lovely man to have a nice conversation with. Would really recommend staying here, it’s in a good location and has plenty of food stops and shops nearby but is far enough out of town to have a relaxing stay that isn’t disturbed.
Obviously not a 5* hotel but everything about this hotel was excellent. A large FREE car park with disabled parking bays. A friendly receptionist greeted us. Our bedroom was large with plenty of room for a wheelchair and a wetroom with a shower seat. There was a kettle with tea and coffee to make a brew. Everything was clean and smart. Only a few steps away was a restaurant for an evening meal and breakfast. Also on the small estate was a petrol station, coffee shop and a well stocked small supermarket. Highly recommended if you need to stop over in the area or visiting Shrewsbury.
Stayed for one night. -hubbie has stayed previously for work and said the rooms had been updated. Functional with basics in room, the receptionist was friendly, and room was quiet. The room was clean but the bathroom needed a bit of tlc, someone had dropped something in the sink and it had cracked and the bath fixtures needed replacing. All in all though, it was fine for one night though. No cooked breakfast options just their packed breakfast box- we gave it a miss, as other places close by for breakfast. Lots of parking available and disabled bays.
